MaxCool Marine sells, installs, and services the innovative Arid Bilge System.
We believe that maintaining a clean and dry bilge is the best step you can take towards ensuring a comfortable and healthy onboard environment for you and your guests.
Not only does the maintenance of a clean and dry bilge improve your day-to-day experience of the boat, but it also helps prevent the premature aging of all onboard systems and improves the resale value of your boat.
We specialize in retrofitting a wide range of vessels — e.g., center consoles, Sport Fishing Boats, and Super Yachts — to help you prevent the damage that standing bilge water can cause and transform your boating experience.
• Water will collect in the bilge from a variety of sources – this is a fact of life on all boats.
• A standard bilge pump is designed to remove most of the bilge water in order to maintain vessel floatation and trim. It’s there to move large volumes of water rapidly, but is incapable of removing the last 1 to 2 inches.
• Standing bilge water indirectly causes corrosion, staining, rust, flaking paint, mold, mildew, humidity, and odors through condensation damage. Condensation happens when the bilge water evaporates into the confined and poorly vented compartments below deck while the sun beats down and heats the boat during daylight hours, and as the boat cools during the night, condensation drops form on everything below deck.
• Condensation damage will rapidly age any machinery, electrical connections, fiberglass, wood, metals, etc.
• Smart technology – the Arid Bilge System keeps boats dry below. It uses vacuum and timing to sense and remove all liquids automatically and completely. One system can dry 1 to 11 different compartments throughout the vessel.
• You never have to set a timer, and you can dry multiple compartments with a single system.
• You can upgrade to a version with hour meters to show you how much each compartment is running, which will provide you with early leak detection.
• The Arid Bilge System is not a bilge pump, but it works together with your bilge pump to keep your boat dry, safe, and healthy.
Arid Bilge offers four systems. All are made-to-order with your choice of zones, voltage, valve styles and pickup styles.
Series 1 — Single zone only
Series 2 — Two to three zones
Series 4 — Four to eight zones
Series 9 HD — Nine to eleven zones
DIY installation is possible for mechanically inclined boat owners — especially for systems with one or a few zones — but professional installation is typically recommended for larger systems. Installers determine the number and location of pickups, route the tubing between pickups and box, and mount, configure and wire the box.

• Ambience improves naturally when you no longer need to work so hard to control that boat smell. You have no more need for harsh bilge cleaning chemicals as overall humidity is kept low.
• Besides the obvious first-order effects of standing bilge water that are now being kept in check, you now get to enjoy early leak detection. Without the customary standing water, you can now trace leaks directly to their source. It boosts your ability to do preventive maintenance.
• The Arid Bilge System doesn’t replace any existing systems on the boat but benefits standard systems, as it tends to increase their longevity (gensets, Gyro stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, helm master pumps, etc.). Bilge pumps & float switches will remain in place, but they’ll only be used in case of large influxes of water and they will be fresh and ready to go because they will not have been sitting in standing water.
• Support the resale value of the boat.
